A natural coral begins to vibrate again through the light that passes through it, as if the sea were returning its breath. Around it, a marble frame sculpted like a deep-sea anemone welcomes and protects it. From the encounter between these materials, a new creature is born, in which natural matter finds a new life.

Riccardo Gatti

Born in Venice in 1993, he trained at the Academy of Fine Arts of his hometown, where he graduated in Sculpture. His research develops through a direct dialogue with natural matter: corals, minerals, and organic structures become living presences within his works.
For Gatti, nature is not a model to imitate, but a language to be listened to. Each work emerges from this deep listening, transforming what nature offers into new forms that amplify its strength, memory, and vitality—revealing a nature never seen before.
