A fascinating collection of natural Gogotte sandstone formations, also known as “Fairy Stones”, individually selected for their extraordinary sculptural shapes and presented on custom-made metal stands.

Gogottes are remarkable sandstone concretions admired for their flowing curves, rounded volumes and almost surreal appearance. Formed through natural geological processes involving the circulation of mineral-rich water through fine sand, they develop intricate contours, folds and cavities that can appear surprisingly artistic despite being entirely created by nature.

The evocative name “Fairy Stone” reflects precisely this unusual character. Each formation seems to suggest different figures and landscapes depending on the viewing angle, giving every specimen its own personality. Their soft ivory, cream and sandy tones further emphasize the play of light and shadow across the naturally sculpted surface.

This collection includes various sizes and shapes, from compact and elegantly balanced specimens to larger, more expressive formations. No two Gogottes are identical, making each one a truly unique geological object.

Every specimen is mounted on a custom metal stand, designed specifically around its individual shape and proportions. The minimalist presentation transforms these natural formations into striking display pieces, equally suited to a mineral and natural-history collection or to sophisticated contemporary interiors.

A remarkable meeting point between geology, natural sculpture and interior design, where millions of tiny grains of sand have been shaped into forms that could easily be mistaken for the work of an artist.
