An impressive extra-large specimen of Murex stroscheli, distinguished by its elaborate sculpture and spectacular development of long, slender spines.

Measuring 158 mm and weighing 35 g, this shell has a remarkably architectural appearance. The elongated siphonal canal is bordered by a series of extended spines, while additional projections radiate from the body whorl, creating the dramatic silhouette characteristic of highly sculptured murex shells.

The surface shows finely developed spiral ridges and varices in soft cream, beige and pale pinkish tones. The long, delicate spines give the specimen an especially elegant and almost sculptural quality, making it highly attractive both as a collector shell and as a natural-history display piece.

Its combination of large size, intricate structure and exceptional visual presence makes this a particularly striking representative of the Muricidae family.
