A distinctive specimen of Cypraea armeniaca Verco, 1912, collected off Port Lincoln, South Australia.

Measuring 104 mm and weighing 95 g, this shell shows the broad, inflated form typical of the species, with a smooth, naturally glossy surface and soft ivory, cream and pale yellow tones. The subdued coloration gives the specimen an elegant appearance, quite different from the more strongly patterned cowries.

This specimen was trawled on muddy bottom at approximately 160–200 metres depth off Port Lincoln, an interesting deep-water provenance that adds to its collecting appeal.

A refined Australian cowry with substantial size, unusual coloration and documented collection data, suitable for a specialist Cypraeidae collection or natural-history display.
