What is Entada gigas?

Entada gigas is a giant tropical climbing vine native to the rainforests of Central and South America, producing some of the largest seed pods in the world. Once mature, its seeds are carried by rivers into the ocean, where they can drift for thousands of kilometres before washing ashore on distant coasts. This remarkable journey has earned them the nickname “sea hearts.”
