A striking albino specimen of Chicoreus ramosus, a highly sculptural member of the Muricidae family, distinguished by its elaborate fronds, broad varices and unusually pale coloration.
Measuring 144 mm and weighing 160 g, this specimen displays the complex, branched architecture typical of the species, with strongly developed projections extending from the body whorl and outer lip. The almost entirely white to ivory surface gives the shell an especially dramatic and sculptural appearance, emphasizing every ridge, spine and natural growth structure.
The specimen also retains its operculum, clearly visible within the aperture, adding further collector interest and completeness.
Originating from Madagascar, this albino form is particularly eye-catching for its monochromatic appearance and intricate natural geometry, making it an impressive piece for a specialist Muricidae collection or refined natural-history display.
